WHO WE ARE
Consortium is a communications and
brand-building agency based in Auckland,
New Zealand.
We have all the capabilities of a fully integrated ad agency but are different in that we focus on building long-term business value for our clients. We do this by working with clients to foster a deep understanding of their business drivers and strategic vision. We believe that when businesses plan for the future, they’re much more likely to succeed today. And often that future starts with a simple, beautiful and actionable big idea. Big ideas lead to the right work, the great work, and the largest results.
Our People
Consortium’s leadership team is comprised of Paul, Ralph and Brett. Each of whom bring years of experience inside and outside of the client and ad agency worlds. The larger Consortium team usually includes about 30 specialists covering a wide range of expertise. On any one day at Consortium you might run into a Java script developer, creative technologist, director, helicopter pilot, dog, data artist, or Arduino specialist, just to name a few. Beyond the core team on any given client, Consortium's staffed based on the specific needs of our client’s tasks at hand. That way we stay nimble, kinetic and easily scalable.

A little bit about our history:
We kicked off in 2003 and were quickly noticed for our work on 42 Below.
We grew.
We launched an office in New York.
We had babies.
We closed the office in New York.
We grew.
We started some other businesses.
The recession was interesting.
We didn’t grow.
The recession was less interesting.
2012. Year of the Re - Restructure, refocus and reinvigoration.
Better this time, like Steve Austin.
